Karachi: Bahria Town Karachi inaugurated its biggest park in Bahria Paradise this wintery evening. Inspired from the idea of New York’s Central Park, Bahria Town Karachi’s Central Park is the biggest among all its parks. The event was attended by the management of Bahria Town Karachi and a large number of residents and visitors from all over the city along with the respectable members of media.
Covering more than 32 acres of land with more than 7000 trees of over 100 varieties, surrounded by lush green lawns, Palms and flowers, the park has a unique design and tranquility which offers something to everyone. Multiple gardens such as Maze Garden, Formal Garden, Rockery Garden, Flower Garden and Bamboo Forest are part of the intricate design of Central Park. It will play a major role in promoting healthy and pollution free environment which is integral for a quality lifestyle.
GM Horticulture Ms. Ayesha Waqar said that “The management of Bahria Town Karachi understands the importance of open spaces, parks, gardens and their impact on ones’ mental and physical health and for this very reason you will find a lot of open and green spaces in Bahria Town Karachi.”
Central Park offers a wide variety of recreational activities for its visitors. The Horse Buggy Ride is the highlight of the park through which visitors can experience a carriage ride amidst nature. One distinct feature of Central Park is its 1.5km long Jogging Track which is challenging and will help in keeping its regular visitors fit and active. Besides a large open-air amphitheatre for cultural shows, performances and entertainment events, the park has lakes and fountains that create a beautiful and soothing landscape. Ample space has been given to BBQ area and other food outlets. The Park also boost a great monument of Quaid-e-Azam.
Hundreds of families are already residing in Bahria Paradise villas are excited and can’t await to become a regular at the park. Central Park Apartments which are surrounding the Central Park are also fast under construction.
