Lahore: Six complex surgeries have been successfully performed at Bahria Town International Hospital and Pakistan Children’s Heart Foundation after conducting Pediatric Cardiac Surgical Mission. These surgeries were performed on children aged 6 months to 10 years. Renowned cardiac surgeons from Medina and Saudi Arabia, Dr. Aitzaz-ud-Din Syed, Team Anaesthesia and ICU Care Team, Major Gen (R) Iftikhar and Dr. Asif Akbar (Peads Cardiologist) performed the surgeries together. This mission was started from 11th to 16th July, 2021. Dr. Aitzaz-ud-Din Syed is the heart of very experienced children’s who have been serving in UK, USA and Madinah for a long time.
Bahria Town International Hospital has been chosen because of its state-of-the-art facilities. People had to go out for this complex operation but now these operations will be performed at Bahria Town Hospital in Pakistan as well. This facility is now available in Pakistan at a very low cost and deserving people can take full advantage of it.
During this mission, we will perform surgeries on as many deserving and congenital heart disease patients as possible.
