Rawalpindi, 14 August 2026: Bahria Town Rawalpindi celebrated Pakistan’s 79th Independence Day with patriotic spirit and national pride at a special flag-hoisting ceremony held at Bahria Town Safari Club.
The ceremony was attended by Bahria Town management, residents, families, and distinguished guests. Cdre (R) Muhammad Ilyas, VCE Bahria Town, graced the occasion as the Guest of Honor and participated in the flag-hoisting ceremony.
The national flag was hoisted with great pride in a warm and patriotic atmosphere, as the community came together to commemorate the historic occasion and pay tribute to the sacrifices made for the creation and protection of Pakistan.
Speaking on the occasion, Cdre (R) Muhammad Ilyas highlighted the significance of Independence Day and emphasized the values of national unity, responsibility, peace, discipline, and love for the country. He also interacted with residents and families, underscoring that the true spirit of independence lies in contributing positively to society and playing a responsible role in the nation’s progress.
The Guest of Honor appreciated the enthusiastic participation of Bahria Town residents and their families, noting that such community gatherings help strengthen the connection between citizens and the national spirit.
As part of the celebrations, gifts were distributed among residents, while a special prize-distribution ceremony was also held to recognize and encourage participants. The activities added to the festive atmosphere, with families and children participating enthusiastically in the celebrations.
