Rawalpindi. Dr. A. Q. Khan School & College marked World Education Day with great enthusiasm and dignity, highlighted by the visit of Ms. Farah Naz Akbar, Federal Secretary, Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training, who attended as the Chief Guest.
She was formally received by Brigadier (Retd.) Dr. Muhammad Hanif, S.I. (M), Principal of the institution, along with senior faculty members. During the visit, the Principal briefed the Federal Secretary on the institution’s academic vision, ongoing educational initiatives, and continued commitment to delivering quality education. He also shared the challenges faced by educational institutions in creating inclusive, resource-efficient, and conducive learning environments.
Addressing a distinguished gathering of principals from various reputable institutions, faculty members, and students, Ms. Farah Naz Akbar highlighted the pivotal role of education in national development. She described students as the hope and future of the nation and reaffirmed the Ministry’s commitment to responding to the evolving needs of both learners and educational institutions.
She emphasized that education is a fundamental right of every child and noted that the Ministry is working closely with federal and provincial stakeholders, institutions, and partners to ensure equitable access to quality education across all segments of society.
The Federal Secretary appreciated the efforts of Dr. A. Q. Khan School & College in promoting academic excellence, discipline, and holistic student development. She encouraged students to pursue knowledge with dedication, integrity, and innovation, stating that a strong education system forms the foundation of a progressive and enlightened society.
The visit concluded with a shared resolve to strengthen collaboration between the Ministry and educational institutions, reinforcing a collective commitment to empowering youth and advancing Pakistan’s educational landscape.
