Lahore. The Lahore Marathon 2026 – 3rd Edition, an AIMS-certified event conducted under World Athletics standards, was successfully held on 15 February 2026 at Bahria Town Lahore. The event brought together professional athletes, running enthusiasts, and families in a vibrant celebration of fitness and community spirit.
More than 3,500 professional athletes participated in the marathon across multiple categories, including the Full Marathon (42.2 km), Half Marathon (21.1 km), 5 KM Race, and Kids Fun Race. Runners representing 17 nationalities, along with leading athletes and running communities from across Pakistan, took part in the event. Participants from various age groups demonstrated remarkable enthusiasm and sportsmanship throughout the race.
A three-day Marathon Village was established from 13 – 15 February 2026 at the iconic Eiffel Tower Bahria Town Lahore. The village served as the central hub for bib collection, community engagement activities, and pre-race preparations, creating an energetic and welcoming environment for runners and visitors.
All key facilities and arrangements were provided by Bahria Town, including hydration points along the route, comprehensive medical coverage, emergency ambulance services, security, and overall venue management to ensure a safe and well-organised event.
The closing ceremony was graced by the Chief Guest, Vice Admiral (R) Zahid Ilyas, Chief Operating Officer, Bahria Town Lahore, who appreciated the participants and organisers for making the event a success and highlighted the importance of promoting healthy lifestyles through sports initiatives.
The Lahore Marathon 2026 once again reinforced Bahria Town’s commitment to encouraging sports, community engagement, and international-standard events in Pakistan.
