Bahria Town Continues To Provide Relief to the Flood Affectees across Pakistan

Karachi: Bahria Town has been continuously providing relief to the flood Affectees in Southern Punjab, Sindh, Balochistan and KPK in the form of tents, food supplies and medicines. The ration bag containing flour, rice, tea, powder milk, oil, lentils, sugar etc. are being provided to thousands of families on daily basis. Besides food supplies, people are also being given tents and medical assistance through Bahria Town medical camps.

One of its kind Tent City has been erected in Nawabshah with more than 500 tents where already a few thousand people are living. The management of tent city provide meals thrice daily and make sure the provision of cold and clean drinking water at all times. Two separate mosques have also been built for men and women and a school for the children living in this tent city. There is an adequate security in place for the wellbeing of the dwellers. Bahria Town is also feeding thousands of people through its platform of 47 Dastarkhwan on daily basis.

Resident Engineer Bahria Town Mr. Amjad Ali Sheikh said that “our teams are working day and night with same vigor that is at par with the vision of Malik Riaz Hussain and Malik Ali Riaz. We are simultaneously providing food rations, tents, medical assistance, free medicines and free meals to thousand daily which is a remarkable feat in itself. We pray and hope that our efforts bring ease to the flood affectees as much as possible.”

Bahria Town relief teams have gone to all extremes to reach the people in distress proficiently and received immense love and prayers in return.
