Liver transplant team at Bahria International Hospital Orchard has organized one day workshop on Surgical Critical Care under the supervision of Dr. Faisal Hanif, Head of Liver Transplant Surgery. A large number of Doctors from all over the country have participated and received training on various aspects of surgical critical care. This will help them in improving their knowledge and skills and they can better serve their own institutions.

Dr Faisal Hanif said ‘’our vision is to provide such academic opportunities to young doctors so that they can flourish in their careers.’’

Dr Shazia Vice President Bahria Town International Hospitals distributed the certificates of participation to all the participants.

Bahria Town is a state-of-the-art Transplant Center, where heart surgeries, liver and kidney transplants, gynecology and other facilities are available. Now transplant patients no longer need to go abroad for treatment. Until now there have been successful surgeries of 50 liver and more than 150 kidney transplants. Not only Pakistan but also from abroad patients come and take advantage of international facilities.
