The 10th National Road Cycling Championship 2026 got underway today at Bahria Town Karachi. More than 150 professional cyclists and teams from across Pakistan are taking part in three days of national-level competition, running from 9 to 11 October 2026.

Who’s Racing

Cyclists are competing from all four provinces, as well as Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan Army, SSGC and other teams. The event is one of the major fixtures on Pakistan’s national cycling calendar.

Categories and Distances

Races are being held across several categories:
  • Juniors
  • Men
  • Women
  • Professionals

Distances range from approximately 30 km to 150 km, depending on the category, testing riders’ endurance, speed and technical skill.

Why Bahria Town Karachi?

The venue was chosen for its distinctive road infrastructure. Wide, well-developed roads, challenging twists and turns, undulating routes and scenic surroundings make it well suited to competitive road cycling across different categories and distances.

The community had already seen what the venue offers at the Cycling Marathon on 15 August, which gave cyclists and organizers first-hand experience of the road quality, scenery and extensive horticultural infrastructure. Following that successful event, Bahria Town Karachi was selected to host the National Road Cycling Championship.
