Karachi: Bahria Town Karachi once again demonstrated its commitment to providing engaging, family-friendly events with the spectacular Fishing Fiesta, held from December 13 to 29, 2024. This one-of-a-kind event captivated the Bahria Town community, drawing hundreds of anglers, families, and visitors for a memorable day filled with fun, friendly competition, and a strong sense of community spirit.
Home to a diverse range of fish, including Common Carp (Gulfam), Grass Carp, Pangasius, and Tilapia, the event took place at the picturesque mini dam in Precinct 15B. The event offered something for everyone, from fishing enthusiasts eager to test their skills to families enjoying an array of activities. Highlights included a live fish BBQ, a children’s park complete with a jumping castle, and a long-distance walking track, ensuring that attendees of all ages were entertained. With perfect weather conditions throughout the two-week event, the Fishing Fiesta exceeded all expectations and attracted an impressive turnout.
